About Program
Advanced Placement (AP) is a program in the United States created by the College Board which offers the opportunity to study advanced, college-level subjects to high-performing American high-school students. AP subjects are recognized by many colleges and universities in the U.S. and around the world. By taking an AP course, students will stand out in the college and university admission process. Students completing an AP class with 3.0/5.0 result or higher will be exempt from similar university credits, saving their time and tuition.
Starting from the 2021-2022 school year, high-school students at the Asian International School may opt to study the Advanced Placement Program (AP) in addition to the existing AERO and Common Core State Standards program. This will get them familiarized with college-level curricula, academic terminology, appropriate learning methods, as well as improve their language proficiency.
-

By taking advanced and specialized subjects within the AP Program, students signal to colleges and universities their clear study path, their serious attitude towards education, and their preparedness for the long and challenging coursework ahead.
-
✔ AP saves student’s time and money
By gaining AP credits, students will be exempt from similar modules at the universities, saving their time, tuition, and other costs.
